I took the bus from Inari to Santa Claus Village in the morning, then I transferred to Rovaniemi bus station to take the bus to Levi in the afternoon. Finally I arrived in Levi at night. Levi was my third sponsor trip. I was going to stay here 2 nights.

Let me introduce Levi first. Levi is a fell located in Finnish Lapland. It's also very popular to see the Northern lights here. At a latitude of 67.8° north, it is located approximately 170 km (110 mi) north of the Arctic Circle. It usually guarantees generous snow cover and sub-zero (<-18C) temperatures throughout winter. Most tourists are from Finland or the other European countries. You can take a flight from London, Paris, Amsterdam...ect to Levi.

Levi is the largest and the best ski resort in Finland. There are 43 ski slopes here. The skiing and snowboarding season in Levi is fairly long, often lasting from October to mid-May. The slopes in Levi are mostly suitable for beginners or intermediates, but there are also three black slopes for experts. There are many activities you can choose here. You also can hold your wedding here.

The first bus stop just in front of the 4 stars hotel-Spa Hotel Levitunturi. It was so convenience. I was treated to stay here 2 nights.

I thought was cold enough at -20 degree in Inari last night, but it was -25 degree here this night. I was so happy that I can go into Spa Hotel Levitunturi so quick and I didn't need to suffer the cold weather outside. It was so warm in the lobby.

I got my room key and the spa water world enter watch after the check in. You can feel the Lapland, Finland atmosphere in the lobby. You can see the ceiling and the walls were built with timber. The floor was made of stone. This hotel is top 3 in Levi accommodation on the tripadviosr website. Room price is including: Breakfast buffet, Morning swim Tue-Sun, one daily entrance to Spa Water World, entrance to gym, entrance to Playhouse Inka&Nico for children, entrance to restaurant. The spa water world is quite popular here. The adult fee is 22 €.

You can see it was at -25 degree. There were Levi tourist information books in 3 different languages in the lobby.

I love this decoration. It seemed to tell you welcome to the Lapland in Finland.

My room was 106.

I was going to open my room door.

The room key was special. The black watch allowed me free entry to the Spa Water World.

I was going to stay at this room 2 nights. It was DBL standard room.

The DBL standard room price from 132 €. It would be cheaper if only one occupant, it would charge from 115 €.

I liked the warm color design in the bathroom. The toilet, shower and the clothes dryer.

I loved the simple chair. It was quite comfort to sit in here. You can see the snow scenery when you open the curtain.

I was surprised that there was a backdoor to the outside. There was a balcony. They already cleaned the snow from the floor.

It looked like I stayed in a cabin from the outside.

Thanks Levi tourist office for being my sponsor. I was so happy I had wonderful stay in Levi during my pregnancy with my baby. We had great sleep in the 4 star hotel-Spa Hotel Levitunturi.

I recommend to book the room on their official website. Sometimes they offer the holiday package, so you can get the cheaper price. This hotel often fully booked, so you need to book your room early, even in the off-peak season.

How can you get in Levi

By plane

Kittilä airport (IATA: KTT, ICAO: EFKT) is some ten south from Levi. Airport has direct connections to Helsinki by Finnair and (during season) Blue1 and to Riga by Air Baltic. Busses coming from south travel via airport to Levi. You may also use taxi.

By train+bus

Overnight trains operate from Helsinki and Turku to Rovaniemi and Kolari (getting from Turku to Kolari require change in Tampere). From these you have to take bus. Trip takes 2.5 hours from Rovaniemi and 1hour and 15 mins from Kolari.

By bus

Busses operate from Helsinki to Levi requiring change in Rovaniemi. Trip takes over 16 hours!

Una跟肚中的極光寶寶，一大早吃完早餐就從Inari搭了巴士，先去了聖誕老人村，然後再到Rovaniemi的巴士站搭上往Levi的巴士，這天共搭了三班巴士，晚上終於到了Levi。Levi是Una這次芬蘭行的第三個贊助旅遊地點，也是此行的最後一個贊助旅行行程，將在這住兩晚。相較前兩次的贊助旅行，這次Una不是被旅行社或飯店招待，而是被芬蘭最大的滑雪勝地Levi市的觀光單位招待住宿和旅行。

Una先簡單介紹Levi這個地方，Levi是位於北極圈以北的拉普蘭(Lapland)區，也是芬蘭追極光很熱門的地點。這裡位於北極圈以北170公里，北緯 67.8°，這裡冬天平均都是-18度以下。來這裡的觀光客，大多數來自芬蘭本地和歐洲各國。巴黎、倫敦、阿姆斯特丹等都有直航的飛機到這個滑雪勝地。

這裡是芬蘭最大的滑雪勝地，共有43座滑雪場，滑雪季節也相當長，從十月到五月中旬。這裡的滑雪坡度，從初學者到專家的坡度都有，不少國際滑雪賽事也都是在這裡舉辦。這裡也有很多的冬季活動可以選擇，也不少歐洲人特地來此舉辦婚禮，處處都可以找到令人驚喜的地方。

巴士停在Levi的第一站，剛好就是Una今晚被招待的四星級飯店Spa Hotel Levitunturi門口，非常方便。

前一晚在Inari時，以為-21度已經是Una此行最冷的極限，沒想到Levi又更冷，竟然冷到-25度。還好ㄧ下巴士就可以馬上進Spa Hotel Levitunturi飯店的溫暖大廳，不用在外面受寒太久。

跟飯店人員告知Una的姓名後，他們就把房卡和一個磁性手錶遞給Una，順便跟Una解說房間和溫水游泳池的位置，並祝Una住得開心。入眼就可以感受到北歐拉普蘭區的氛圍，木格柵的天花板和裝飾牆面，還有大石塊地板。這間四星級飯店在Tripadvisor網站中，是Levi住宿排行榜的第3名，還被列為超值型住宿。因為在這裡入住的客人可以免費使用Spa Water World水世界的游泳池、桑拿浴室和健身房。Spa Water World水世界的游泳池在當地很受觀光客歡迎，因為天氣太冷了，大家晚上都會來這裡的溫水泳池，成人的入場費就要22 €(以目前1:37匯率來算的話，約台幣800元)，還有附免費的早餐和免費WIFI。

牆上可以看到當晚溫度-25度，還有Una此行贊助商Levi觀光單位所印製的三種語言觀光手冊。

當天晚上Una被安排入住106房。

插入房卡，準備入住今晚的房間啦!

這裡要特別提一下他們的房卡設計很特別，不是磁卡也不是鑰匙，而是洞洞卡。而右邊的黑色手錶就是可以去Spa Water World水世界的游泳池的免費通關手錶，手錶是防水材質的。

這間就是Una接下來兩晚要住的房間，是標準雙人房，也是此飯店最基本的房型。可以看到北歐簡約風格，裝潢和家具用著大量的木材，呈現出樸實的簡約風格。

此房型的房價132 €起，會依訂房日期而有所變動。如果是單人入住雙人房，價錢會再便宜一點，不會收雙人房的房價，則會從115 €起跳。如果是跟朋友一起入住這個房型，又剛好是132 €這個房價，那麼分攤房錢真的是超划算。等於每人一晚只要66 €(約台幣2440元)，還包含了22 €的水世界入場費、自助式早餐還有免費的WIFI，這個價錢很難想像自己是住在物價超高的北歐芬蘭四星級飯店。
