I had a good sleep at Levitunturi Spa Hotel in Levi last night. I did the proposal in Levi tourist office after I had my breakfast. They arranged a husky safari for me in the morning. The Levi information center is very close to the Levitunturi Spa Hotel.

There were 2 ice sculptures in front of the Levi information center. You can image how cold it was.

It was another Polar Bear ice sculpture.

The cars and the trees were covered by the snow.

One thing on my wish list was taking the husky safari. I had only seen the husky safari in the movies. I thought it was incredible if I could do it. This day I was going to make my dream come true . The bus came to the Levi tourist office to pick us up.

I was the only Asian girl in this group.

It was a really big challenge to me in Levi as it was so cold last night at -25 degree. But it was colder at -32 degree in the morning.

The boss of the Tundra Huskies. He has 27 years experience training the huskies.

We arrived at Tundra Huskies Husky farm entrance.

Everyone wore so many clothes and covered their faces very well, because it was so chilly.

We were so excited to start our husky safari tour.

The boss was talking about how we would pass one section that would be at -45 degree when we do the husky safari 10 km.

Everyone needed to be careful and stay at a safe distance of about 10 meters.

The boss showed the right pose to ride the sledge.

Everyone needed to notice the speed. Just go slow. It is very important to know how to stop the sledge on the husky safari.

You need to step on the brake if you want to stop the sledge or to reduce your speed.

There were 8 huskies. They were so excited to run the husky safari. They could't wait to go.

It was my first time to take the husky safari. My baby & I enjoyed the Finland beautiful snow scenry and the speed. You can see the blanket was covered by the frost already.

Ha..It was me. I needed to covered my face very well.

You can see other people on the husky safaris. It just like the movie scenes.

They have only Arctic pure breed Siberian Husky in their Husky farm.

They looked a little like the wolfs as well.

All the huskies just turned their heads.

They followed the order. They all were well-trained.

We had a hot drink and the sausage in the cottage after the husky safari.

I thought the people who drove the sledge must had felt chiller than me.

I used the open fire to cook my sausage .

I wore the snow clothes and had the sausage mouth. ha ha

We visited their reindeers.

They gave you some food to feed the reindeers.

The boss has 27 years experience training the huskies. They have only Arctic pure breed Siberian Husky in their Husky farm. Husky safari is always accompanied by a professional safari guide. They take care of these huskies very well. Husky safari program is based on many years of experience in Levi Husky park. Huskies welfare is very important to them, well-kept and trained sled dogs,their huskies are always happy to go on husky safari. Their sledges are modern with good brakes and safe to drive. You know these huskies were taken care of very well.

Let me introduce the Siberian husky. The Siberian Husky is a medium size, dense-coat working dog breed that originated in north-eastern Siberia. Huskies are a very active, energetic, and resilient breed whose ancestors came from the extremely cold and harsh environment of the Siberian Arctic. Siberian Huskies were bred by the Chukchi of Northeastern Asia to pull heavy loads long distances through difficult conditions. The Siberian Husky, Samoyed , and Alaskan Malamute are all breeds directly descended from the original sled dog.(The information from wiki)

How can you get in Levi

By plane

Kittilä airport (IATA: KTT, ICAO: EFKT) is some ten south from Levi. Airport has direct connections to Helsinki by Finnair and (during season) Blue1 and to Riga by Air Baltic. Busses coming from south travel via airport to Levi. You may also use taxi.

By train+bus
Overnight trains operate from Helsinki and Turku to Rovaniemi and Kolari (getting from Turku to Kolari require change in Tampere). From these you have to take bus. Trip takes 2.5 hours from Rovaniemi and 1hour and 15 mins from Kolari.
By bus
Busses operate from Helsinki to Levi requiring change in Rovaniemi. Trip takes over 16 hours!

Una在拉維市(Levi)的第一晚在Levitunturi Spa Hotel有相當好的睡眠品質，這天一早Una吃完早餐後，就先到Levi市的觀光單位做了簡報，做完簡報就是參加Levi市替Una安排的哈士奇雪撬活動，門口已經有同團的人在等待了。後來才發現原來Levi的觀光單位就在Una住得下榻飯店對面而已，過個馬路就到非常方便，怪不得會幫Una安排這間下榻飯店。

Levi的遊客中心就位於Levi市觀光單位的一樓，門口還有兩座貨真價實的北極熊冰雕，就可以知道這裡有多冷了。Una當然也要跟可愛的北極熊冰雕來合照一張。

可以看到當天的天氣有多冷，車子和樹都被雪給覆蓋了。

Una到芬蘭前想實現的願望清單之一，當然包括搭乘哈士奇狗雪撬。以前只能在電影裡看到，總覺得是件很夢幻又遙遠的事情。兩天前住極光屋時，經理當時也是幫Una安排了哈士奇狗雪撬的活動，後來得知Una剛懷孕，為了肚中的寶寶安全著想就幫Una取消。後來參加活動回來的人跟Una說，其實搭乘哈士奇狗雪撬沒有想像中的快和顛簸，還滿安全的，所以這次拉維市替Una安排的哈士奇雪撬，Una當然就沒打算取消了。

參加哈士奇雪撬團，哈士奇雪撬車會開小巴到遊客中心門口來接送。

哈士奇場的主人幫Una安排坐在駕駛座旁，其他人又是成雙成對或朋友的參加，Una是此團中唯一的亞洲人。

來Levi根本就在挑戰低溫，昨晚-25度已經夠冷了，這天早上竟然又下降了-7度，到了-32度。

哈士奇雪撬公司的老闆兼教練，他養哈士奇狗已經有26年的經驗，他邊開車邊跟全車的人解說。

沒多久就開到哈士奇狗莊園外。

大家都包得密不通風，因為真的太冷了。

好興奮準備進入哈士奇莊園了。

莊園老闆在跟團員們解說，並說到今天天氣驟降，如果跑10km的話，有一段路程會到零下45度。問大家的意願是要5km還是10km的路程，大家當然都還是想要10km，畢竟都難得來啦!

哈士奇雪撬車也有安全距離，要保持10公尺。

這裡老闆示範正確駕駛哈士奇雪撬的姿勢，1.雙手緊握手把，駕駛中不能單手放開，像是為了拍照、打招呼等。2.雙腳踏在雪撬兩邊的木條上。

駕駛哈士奇雪撬也要注意速度放慢，因為哈士奇狗拉雪撬會太興奮跑太快，有可能追撞到前面的雪撬。尤其是轉彎的時候，速度沒有放慢也會摔出去的，所以學會怎麼剎車很重要。

可以看到雪撬後方中央有個馬鞍型的鐵片，用力踩下去就能剎車和輕輕踩則是減慢速度，在轉彎的時候特別需要。接著就準備出發啦。

雪撬共有8隻哈士奇在拉，牠們非常的活潑好動，對於要拉雪撬都興奮得跳起來。一開始莊園主人踩住煞車，還沒出發時，所有的哈士奇狗還不耐煩的往後看，想說怎麼還不出發，讓我見識到甚麼叫快脫韁的哈士奇狗。還有哈士奇跑一跑會突然吵架，真是太有趣了。

呼，生平第一次坐在哈士奇雪撬上，Una跟肚中的寶寶一起享受芬蘭北極圈的雪景，真是太夢幻啦!駕駛雪撬的是莊園老闆，所以他才有辦法技術好到邊駕駛邊幫Una拍照。可以看到當天的天氣有多冷，才坐雪撬沒多久，蓋在Una身上的毛毯已經開始結霜了。

這是Una的自拍照，整張臉都被包的整個密不通風，零下30度以下真的太冷了，這趟芬蘭北極圈行，真的是在考驗Una到底能忍耐住多寒冷的天氣。冷風吹來，都覺得臉冷到刺痛，鼻子吸進去的空氣都是冰的。

可以看到廣大的雪原上，其他團員駕駛哈士奇雪撬的身影。

這家的哈士奇狗莊園的哈士奇，都是北極圈的純種西伯利亞哈士奇狗。

西伯利亞的純種哈士奇，其實滿像狼的，只差不會啊嗚。

感謝莊園主人幫Una拍照，當下Una真的快凍僵了。Una當時最承受不了的就是腳，感覺腳都快凍僵了，已經寒冷穿透了鞋子，腳已經冷到會痛。當時穿了兩層襪子又穿靴子，又蓋毛毯還是不夠保暖啊!

眼前的雪景，好美好夢幻，真的有如置身電影場景啊!

剛好所有的哈士奇都轉頭。

主人一叫就全部回頭，非常訓練有素的哈士奇狗狗。

Una還有極光寶寶跟哈士奇狗狗的合照，當時為了橋帽子有點好笑。

跟哈士奇的自拍，牠還主動湊過來。

哈士奇雪撬結束後，就可以到他們的小木屋裡，可以圍著熱熱的火爐取暖，還有熱飲和德國香腸。

今天的天氣真的冷極了，我想駕駛哈士奇雪撬的人肯定更冷，沒毛毯可以蓋，不過老外對於這種零下溫度應該很習慣。

大家就是這樣烤德國香腸的，烤得外皮有點脆脆的真好吃。

Una穿的就是莊園的防寒衣裝備，附上正港的香腸嘴照片給大家。

結束小木屋點心時間後，就參觀他們的馴鹿場。

還可以餵食馴鹿，莊園會提供飼料讓旅客餵食。

Una滿強力推薦這間Tundra Huskies的哈士奇雪撬活動，他們家在Levi的活動在Tripadvisor網站是排名第一名，有興趣的朋友可以上去看評價。哈士奇莊園主人有26年飼養和訓練哈士奇狗的經驗，所以非常專業。這裡的哈士奇狗都是純種的西伯利亞哈士奇，哈士奇狗都訓練有素，也被照顧得很好。因為哈士奇是莊園的重要資產，很重視牠們的健康和飲食，這些哈士奇狗都是很愛拉雪撬運動的。哈士奇狗都有工作年限，工作幾年就會退休。莊園主人非常注意旅客和狗的安全，跑的路線雪景很美很夢幻。其實你只要觀察狗的健康狀況和對於拉雪撬的興奮反應，就可以知道牠們被照顧得很好。

這裡要介紹一下哈士奇狗又叫雪撬犬，是原產於西伯利亞東部的工作犬，能在北極嚴寒環境中生存的能力，牠們最早被居民飼養的功能用於拉重物長途跋涉。西伯利亞雪撬犬的性情溫順，因為是工作犬，所以牠們的精力充沛，喜歡探索和運動。牠們有強烈的奔跑本能，所以不讓牠們拖雪撬跑，牠們還會不爽。像哈士奇狗的長征比賽都是幾天幾夜的，拉雪撬對牠們來說只能算是小小的暖身。哈士奇狗需要很大的運動量，不然只是餵食又沒讓牠運動，牠就會過胖。記住哈士奇狗雖然很可愛，但牠們身上的長毛就是為了保護牠們在極圈這樣嚴寒的天氣下存活，而且需要在空曠的地方奔跑，讓牠大量的運動，所以非常不適合像台灣這樣的亞熱帶國家居住。這種天生就習慣在零下二、三十度生活的狗狗，愛牠就該讓牠留在適合的國家長大。

這次Una參加的哈士奇雪撬10km，如果是兩人用一台雪撬(一人駕駛、一人乘坐)，每人99 € ，只有一個人參加的費用是125 €。請上Levi的觀光網站訂購此行程，或直接上官網訂購。費用包括從Levi的遊客中心來回接送、英文嚮導、在爐火享受熱飲和香腸、稅。當時他們有提供防寒衣給大家，但是網站沒提到，訂行程前可以再確認一下。

謝謝Levi市招待Una這次的~~Tundra Huskies~~士奇雪撬10km行程，讓Una又實現了夢想清單之一。很幸運第一次的哈士奇雪撬經驗，就遇上這個零下45度的低溫，真的讓Una和肚中的極光寶寶永生難忘了。Una當時是從炎熱的澳洲夏天飛到寒冷的芬蘭北極圈，這個溫差至少70度，ˊ人生第一次經歷這麼大的溫差!感謝莊園主人的專業，讓我跟極光寶寶坐在雪撬裡都很安全，路也不會太顛簸。
